Biography
I have never considered myself an artist, but somehow, I have been blessed to find that "creating" is my passion and gift. Whether it be with fabric, with paints on a canvas, with a mouse and a computer, or with words on a screen, it's the process of bringing something to life that makes me happy.
Whimsicals began in 1997 as a way for me to work part-time from home so that I could be with my kids while they were young. Now, over 12 years later, they are not so young anymore, and Whimsicals keeps me busy full-time. From designing quilt fabric for Red Rooster Fabrics, to designing and sewing my quilts, to publishing my own project books, and everything else in between, my days are filled with all sorts of things that feed my creative spirit.
Yep, Whimsicals is just me, in my little sewing room, doing what I love. I am so blessed!
